Board Chair Announced for 2023

(February 24, 2023) – Keene, NH. Keene Housing Kids Collaborative is pleased to announce the naming of Danielle Ruffo as Board Chair for 2023. Ruffo succeeds Erika Greenwald (now Immediate Past Board Chair) who served as Board Chair from 2021-2022. She has served on the Board of Directors since 2018, serving as Board Treasurer in 2020 and Board Vice Chair in 2021-2022.

In her position Ruffo will be responsible for supporting and sustaining the organization’s mission through strategic planning, fundraising, policy development, overseeing procedures and regulations, board governance, and monitoring financial and programming performance. Ruffo currently works as AVP, Community Engagement & Marketing for Savings Bank of Walpole. She has been at Savings Bank of Walpole for 15 years.

“It is an absolute honor to be named Chair for Keene Housing Kids Collaborative. In my discovery of our nonprofit community here in Keene and the surrounding towns, the Kids Collaborative was the first nonprofit that spoke to me on a deeper level and was the first organization I decided to actively be involved in,” says Ruffo. “Fast forward five years and now I am the Chair. The Kids Collaborative provides amazing enrichment opportunities to our kids that we know are setting them up to be successful contributors to our community as adults. This, alongside the collaboration with our community partners is what attracted me to the organization. It feels like we give back in a multitude of ways. I’m excited to help charge this organization through its next phase of “Building the Foundation for Successful Adulthood.”

Ruffo leads the 2023 Keene Housing Kids Collaborative Board of Directors: Ben White (Vice Chair), Gregg Kleiner (Treasurer), Stacey McGilvery (Secretary), Cristina Carpentier, Kristin Targett, Kim Schmidl-Gagne, JB Mack, Joanna Zambella, Eliza Murphy, Sarah Frankel and Erika Greenwald (Immediate Past Chair).
